The conversion to a new core processing or other technology system requires significant amounts of dedicated human resources and technical expertise. Unfortunately, most banks are already operating with a skeleton crew, so there are no available resources to properly drive conversions.

This leaves you with several choices:

• Proceed with caution, crossing fingers that nothing goes wrong,
• Pull someone off daily tasks to manage the conversion and hope that others can pick up the slack,
