NICOLA P. GISMONDI 
Nick is a results-oriented senior banking executive who possesses a unique blend
of banking business acumen and information technology expertise. He is a seasoned
business and technology leader with over 30 years in the field of Finance. Nick
has a proven track record with several major corporations (Bank of America, R. J.
Reynolds Tobacco, Columbia Gas, USX Corporation).
Through his leadership and with innovative technology, Nick assists his clients
in the implementation of strategic change initiatives. Nick is known for his expertise
in cash disbursement controls. He is a master of streamlining business processes.
Prior to joining Vitex, Nick was a Senior Vice President for Bank of America in
charge of disbursements totaling more than $8 Billion per year. He also was responsible
for the accounting compliance review of fixed assets and associate inventories valued
in excess of $7.4 Billion. In addition, he managed the processing and payment of
over 700,000 travel and entertainment expense statements annually. Nick developed
the program that allowed Bank of America to displace over 250 FTEs by consolidating
21 accounts payable offices into a centralized disbursement group. He also created
and led a duplicate payment recoveries process that resulted in the addition of
several million dollars to the bottom line.
Also, while at Bank of America, Nick developed the strategy and managed the implementation
of a purchasing card program. He also designed, developed and implemented an electronic
bar coded check request voucher system and replaced the microfilming process with
image technology. Nick also wrote the specifications and managed the implementation
of a web-based electronic T&E expense statement reimbursement system, known
as 'EXPRESS' across the bank..
Nick holds a Masters degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Waynesburg College.
