MARK E. CARRON 
Senior Consultant
Mark is a senior consultant and
previous bank executive with a record of success building and motivating technical
and non-technical teams to exceed organizational objectives. Mark assists Vitex
client's with strategies to reduce the bank's operating expenses, improving workflow
and operational efficiencies, and increasing non-interest fee income. Adept at assessing
client needs and developing innovative strategies, he formulates unique solutions
that ensure client satisfaction. He has strong leadership abilities and exemplary
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Prior to joining Vitex, Mark
was responsible for the oversight of a $1.2 billion company's Deposit and Loan Operations,
Information Technology, Customer Telephone Center, Help Desk, Electronic Banking,
and 39 Facilities. He administered an annual operating budget of $9 million. Mark
was responsible for development, training, and performance evaluations for a staff
of 70 operational, customer service, and product development specialists. He was
also responsible for the bank's security and fraud programs. As a member of Senior
Management and Risk Management Committees he reported directly to the President/Chief
Executive Officer. Some of his key achievements were to implement Customer Relationship
Management strategy and systems; installation of bank wide Voice over IP utilizing
the existing data infrastructure; reduction of customer reliance on paper and branch
personnel through e-commerce strategies and automation; implemention of revised
workflows using document imaging technology, significant contribution to staff development,
customer satisfaction, and bottom line by spearheading, streamlining, and automating
of business processes; formulation of corporate strategy and policy and providing
advice on operational issues and industry trends to CEO, Directors, and Senior Management
Committee.
Prior to that, Mark was a Regional Vice President with direct responsibilities
for 37 branch managers along with all new account sales and teller associates and
oversight of the company's 38 facilities including renovations and new construction.
Away from work, Mark is an elected Selectman for the town of Orleans, MA and he
is also a member of the Orleans Council on Aging, "Fix it Corp." He and his wife
are Puppy Raisers for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
